Design partner program
Wäg is Apache-2.0 at the core, and the repository opens up at public release. Until then we work with a small group of teams — running multi-provider AI in production, serious about governance and data sovereignty — to harden the control plane on real workloads.
What partners get
Early access
Run Wäg in your own environment ahead of public release, with new capabilities the moment they land.
The full platform
Every Enterprise module — SSO, SCIM, data-plane JWT, audit and evidence packs, the auditor role, content marking — at no licence cost for the term of the partnership.
Hands-on migration
We do the migration with you, including from LiteLLM or a managed gateway, rather than handing you a guide.
A direct line
Straight to the engineers building Wäg. Your workloads and requirements steer what ships next.
What we ask
- A real production or pre-production workload — not a proof of concept that never ships.
- A regular feedback cadence, roughly every two weeks, with whoever actually operates it.
- Honest reporting when something is wrong. Unflattering findings are the point of the program.
- Optionally, and only if you are comfortable: a reference or a written case study later. This is not a condition.
Who we prioritize
The cohort is small, so we weight toward teams where the feedback will be densest:
- Multi-provider AI already in production, not planned.
- European or sovereignty-focused organizations, including Swiss financial services and regulated EU enterprise.
- A platform or AI-platform team that owns the infrastructure, rather than a single product team.
- Governance pressure that is real and dated — an audit, a regulatory obligation, a board question.
We are onboarding a limited number of teams at a time so that each gets genuine engineering attention. If the current cohort is full we will say so rather than leaving your application open indefinitely.
Apply
During the private preview, Wäg runs only with design partners: there are no public images yet. If you want to read further first, the quickstart, architecture and security pages need no form.
